thanks :D

Do the sell. Also, care to share any gems of knowledge you might have picked up in your viewing history about that era in fiction?

Jradgex responds:

You mean any artistic troupes about 90s anime?

Well for one thing, older anime wasn't afraid to show noses. Most modern anime tries to "imply" a nose on their character, with a little dot or tiny slash below the eyes. I think the intent is to make it look more cute while not looking too "cartoony." Big, exaggerated noses only used on comedic characters or fantasy creatures. But in older animes, you'd see everybody rocking some kind of nose. At minimum, it would still look somewhat subtle, like a pointed tip and not much else.

But for other general stuff, you'll see shadows are a lot darker, eyes and pupils are MUCH bigger, and line-art is a thicker if that makes sense. I'm no expert! Just what I've observed! HAHA!

NEVER.

I love dynamic and full poses like this but hate the actual difficulty which comes with it.

Fire which fries the flesh or scalds the soul?

P.S. Does it come in an assortment of colors & differing effects? (like fire magic from fairytail...)

Orashs responds:

This fire does a little of both, also it does vary in colour depending on the intensity of the flame changing from a yellow, red, light purple and blue. The fire itself has no effects but if the wielder were proficient in other magic they could combine spells

You say 'cartoony' but it looks borderline hyper-realistic to me, or maybe you typically draw the real human anatomy stuff. Is Rat Queens your graphic novel? Where can I find it?...Who are YOU for that matter? Love the potential 4th wall break as I perceive it btw.

And finally, for a girl (or boy or other 'cause gender) named Violet, they're such a redhead, which I love.

TauDA responds:

I dunno ^_^ to me it's more cartoony than the normal things I draw :)

I wish I'd drawn Rat Queens but it's a novel by Kurtis J. Wiebe and Roc Upchurch (should be able to find it online ^_^).

I should really fill out my bio shouldn't I XD

Thank you though ^_^ yeh for the hair colour.

yum

Really like that color combo with the hair & eyes as well as the art style in general.
